Jay of Jay’s Classics takes pride in quality craftsmanship and has a rare niche and expertise when it comes to stock trucks or customization/modification of classic pickups. He is a skilled expert with 1955, 1956, 1957, 1958 and 1959 Chevy/GMC/Chevrolet pickups. He specializes in independent front suspensions (IFS), fit & finish, hanging sheet metal, door alignment, rebuild of door hinges or fixing/rebuilding broken hinge pockets. He is the one out in the shop building pickups and installing the products he promotes. Jay is a true “motor-head” and understands what restoration/modification projects are all about.
Although Jay’s favorites are the Tri Five / Task Force pickups he is willing to work on most any make or late model pickup.
About Jay’s Classics
Jay’s Classics is owned by Jay Young Jr., of Kuna, Idaho, he has been building, fabricating and customizing pickups since the mid-1980s. To date, he has upgraded over fifty suspensions and worked on too many to count for fit and finish. He has mastered his technique and has a tested and true method of grafting the Camaro suspensions to the GM pickups. Jay works out of his own shop and therefore does not have the overhead of the bigger rod shops. He has shipped many completed projects around the United States. He has completed/owned several International Show Car Association (ISCA) award winning pickups not to mention local show winners too. He can take you and your project to the level you desire.
Take a few minutes and browse his site and when you are ready for Jay to build the pickup of your dreams, or just perform maintenance, repairs or modifications on your current project give him a call. If you are in the market to purchase a project check out my For Sale page. Thanks for spending some of your valuable time with me.
